What did you enjoy going most as a child?

I used to love building forts and club houses. When we lived on Madison Street (1040 Madison), we build forts under our back porch, in garages and in the trees. We would use old pieces of wood that we would find or old refrigerator boxes for walls. Brent Ollendorf and Robbie Howe would collect spiders and bugs in jars and we would try to keep them alive under the porch. In the back of the Garrison's garage was a great room that we called "the clubhouse". All of the neighborhood kids would meet there and have meetings. It was never locked up and we used to sneak in there at night, open the windows and pretend to be at war or pretend that we were criminals escaping from the law. We would also play wiffle ball for hours across the backyard. We would try to hit home runs over the fences.
